What time is check in and check out?
Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00 am.
Do the rental cottages have Wi-Fi?
Yes, all of our cottages have Wi-Fi included for guests to use.
What is the smoking policy?
​​Smoking is not permitted in any of the cottages.
What is the cancellation policy?
85% of paid prepayments are refundable when canceled 30 day(s) before arrival or earlier.​ 0% refundable if canceled after.
How long can guests rent a cottage for?
Vacation rentals operate on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, dependent on the cottage.
When does the cottage rental season begin and end?
The rental season starts at the beginning of April and ends at
the end of October each year.
Are pets permitted at the cottages?
Yes, dependent on the cottage. Cats and dogs are allowed with
a payment of the pet fee. Up to 2 animals allowed per cottage each stay. The pet fee is $100.00 for 1 pet before tax ($114.45
with tax) and $155.00 before tax ($177.40 with tax) for 2 pets.
Are bed sheets and towels provided?
​Yes, we provide pillows, blankets, and mattress pads in each cottage. We also provide a linens add-on that includes sheets, pillowcases, and towel sets. Towel sets include a bath towel, a
hand towel, and a wash cloth. The linens add-on is $20.00
before tax ($22.89 with tax) per guest each stay. Linens are
not automatically provided with cottage bookings.
Are there laundry machines available for guests to use?
​Yes, dependent on the cottage. There are coin operated washers and dryers available for use on the property site. Some cottages have an individual washer and dryer (check cottage details).
What is the Swap Shop?
The Swap Shop, located next to the property laundry units, is a donation-based resource of books and beach toys for guests to use during their stay at Surf Side Cottages.
